Waiting for the bus this morning, I heard a loud and rather angry sounding "CHIRP" above my head.  I looked up to see my first robin of the year - a true harbinger of spring.

Granted, he looked very puffed up and none too pleased to be sitting in the blowing snow,  but he was a reminder of warmer days ahead.

Soon, a chorus of chirps erupted - and I turned to see that Robin #1 had been joined by nine others of his kind.

Not just one, but TEN robins!

Spring is coming!

I'm looking forward to my first crocus sighting....

Welcome, Friends! 

After a few years of living with a website that consisted merely of a placeholder to direct people to our Myspace page, Vince and I decided that it was finally time to find a place of our own. 

It's nothing fancy, but it's home - at least for now.  

As they say in Ireland, you are very welcome here.   Come on in, the tea is steeping and the porch swing is calling your name....
