Wow - what an awesome festival!!   12 blocks were closed to traffic.  3 music stages, buskers, face painting, chalk drawings, art making, food vending... the list is long.

While most of the day was cloudy, and there was a teensy bit of rain, the sun managed to peek out a few times to cheer up the crowds.

Well done, Dundas West BIA, Dundas West Fest planners, and Helder Ramos for organizing such a great street fest.

We hope to see you again next year!

Hi Friends!

We hope that you are well and happy.

We are keeping busy with music, art (Vince) and desk jockey day job (Heather).  I got a new (much lighter) bike, and hope that we can do another long distance cycling trip this summer. Maybe I'll even be able to keep up with Vince this time!

There are a few upcoming shows that we wanted to let you know about.

Saturday, June 8:  We will be playing this coming Saturday at the inaugural Dundas West Fest in Toronto.  The festival runs all day - from 11am to 10pm.  This is a car-free, participatory, community inspired celebration of everything local.  It takes place on Dundas Street West from Landsdowne to Roxton. 5 intersections throughout the festival area are designated Busker Zones - Dundas and St. Clarens, Sheridan, Gladstone, and Coolmine.  Start times will be hourly. There are also 3 stages, with music all day long.

Saturday, June 29: For those in the Tobermory vicinity, or those needing a little weekend break in the beautiful Bruce Peninsula, we'll be playing June 29 at  Molinari's restaurant in Tobermory's Little Tub Harbour. We're hoping for a warm night so that we can play outside under the stars.

August 22-25: We are thrilled and honoured to once again be part of Toronto's Scotiabank Buskerfest!  Last  year, more than a million attendees had the St. Lawrence Market area bursting at the seams.  So this year the festival is moving to Yonge Street!  Vince and I had a blast playing at the media event to announce this new location.  Keep an eye out for the festival poster to see if you recognize anyone.  ;)

We'd love to see you at any of these events.

Enjoy these warm spring days.  Summer is coming!  (finally...)
