Ok, not really the Stone Age, but it was definitely a long time ago!

Here are two videos dredged up from the archives - a first and a last.  

The first one features me with the band "Crackenthorpe's Teapot" - with Dawud Wharnsby, Corey Schmidt and Bill Kocher.  This was our first performance together, playing at "Speaker's Corner" in Kitchener, Ontario - way back in 1991. 

The second is Dawud Wharnsby and I performing at the Goderich Celtic Festival in 1994 - our last performance together until last week's Owen Sound extravaganza.

Vince and I had a really nice time at the One World Festival in Owen Sound last week. From the breathtaking glimpses of the turquoise waters of Georgian Bay on the drive up, to the children dancing and clapping joyfully to klezmer music, it was a great day to celebrate diversity!

Despite the chill in the air, the sun kindly decided to join us for most of the day, which brought people out to enjoy the music, performances and displays.

After the performances, we managed to fit in a tea party by the lake with Dawud Wharnsby and his lovely family.

It's hard to believe that 18 years have passed since Dawud and I last performed together.  How time marches on...
